Kwame asked Dyan's father for her hand in marriage and her dad gave his blessing. Kwame had a friend pretend to offer Dyan a free hotel stay in exchange for their participation in a promotional video. Dyan thought she was surprising her man with a romantic vacation. When they got to the hotel the couple was offered a free helicopter ride. During the ride, the pilot pretended to need to make an emergency landing and Dyan's eyes got wide with worry. Upon landing, Kwame revealed that he had planned the entire day just to ask her to marry him. She said yes and the couple celebrated back at the hotel with their eight children.
