Toddler On Window Ledge Rescued by Czech Police

Police in Prague, Czech Republic, acted quickly to bring a toddler to safety who had climbed onto a window ledge as her parent slept.

Footage released by the Police of the Czech Republic shows the incident on March 22.

Police said passersby had called emergency services after spotting the two-year-old, who was sitting six meters up on the windowsill of an open window.

Footage shows officers quickly identifying the toddler before pulling out a ladder from one of the service cars, climbing up, and securing her.

Police said the mother of the child was asleep and did not wake until officers opened the window and curtains and called into the apartment.
