Gazan loses eight family members in Israeli strikes

STORY: Kafarneh, injured and with his arm in a cast, fled two locations with his family before being hit by an Israeli airstrike that killed his pregnant wife, his brother, father, two cousins and two extended family members.

“A strike hit us and we don’t know why, we have done nothing,” he said.

Gaza's health ministry said at least 900 people have been killed and 4,600 wounded in the crowded coastal enclave. Israel's military said the death toll in Israel had reached 1,200 and more than 2,700 people had been wounded.
